6月2日のメールより。われわれのセッションはチェアなし。PCはぼくが持参。

The preliminary meeting program is now online. Please go to the 4S meeting site at http://www.4sonline.org/meeting.htm and click on 'meeting program' to check to see when you present and to peruse the program. If you are logged in you can create and print a personal itinerary. Due to the difficulty and complexity of assembling this program, we are unable to switch any panel sessions or individual presentations.

The Program Committee has prepared a block of rooms in Shinagawa Prince Hotel at a reduced rate. This offer is valid for a short time only. A list of additional recommended hotels and their rooms is also posted. Find this information on the 4S meeting page. http://www.4sonline.org/meeting.

And finally, we have arranged to have projectors and screens for all presentation rooms. The organizers of the panels are responsible for bringing a laptop. If the laptop is a Mac, they should also bring World travel adapter kit.

Please check with your panel chair to be sure someone in the group has a laptop for the panel to use. We ask the presenters in sessions without a chair to email each other and be sure someone will have a laptop at the session. Those who are in workshops will not need a laptop as the format is that of a roundtable presentation and discussion. Handouts might be more appropriate for these.
